Our Social Week at the Normanville Caravan Park was a chance for members, to renew their friendship with other members and to wind down from the hectic period that accompanies Christmas and the New Year.
On Wednesday we were joined by June and Des, Brenda and Les and Roly for luncheon at the "Links". This venue provided us with a lovely meal and a magnificent view over the golf links and surrounding country side.
In the evenings, as the sun was setting, we soaked up the atmosphere on the beach front enjoying freshly cooked fish and chips and donuts.
Activities included, beach-walking, sight-seeing and swimming. The latter being the first time for many years for some members!
Colin, Allan and Don were the ones to brave the elements to try some fishing, and were rewarded with a few.
A very relaxing week.
October Tuesday 13
Venue: Bob and Margaret's place.

The weather forecast for the day was "cold, wet and windy" and the Bureau of Meteorology was spot on!
This called for some drastic alterations to our venue, and constituency plan B was put into action.
Our next door neighbour's back veranda which faces to the east, sheltered us from the strong SW winds and made it comfortable for the twenty two members who attended. Our thanks go to Alan and Ann for coming to the rescue.
Another great day to catch up with Fishing Group Members.
Bob and Margaret.
