Our trip to Marion Bay incorporated the Innes National Park, situated at the bottom south west corner of Yorke Peninsula, famous for its magnificent scenery and noted fishing spots. The local beaches of Shell, Jollys, Brown and Gym, were fished with great enthusiasm, and we were rewarded with many a catch. All the bays that we visited were interesting to the group, especially Pondalowie Bay where the sloop Doctel Rager was being salvaged after its recent mishap.
Many happy hours were enjoyed with lots of goodies and loads of fun. Scones with jam and cream and freshly smoked fish were quickly devoured.
Our thanks go to the trip leaders and committee members for another fabulous week of fishing and fun.
Bob and Margaret.
