Although the weather was quite warm (34.4°) there were 45 members who rolled up and enjoyed the tour through SARDI, (South Australian Research and Development Institute) at West Beach. One of our members kept the government honest by producing a tape measure and checked the length of a King George Whiting to make sure it was legal size!
APEX PARK provided some relief from the heat with plenty of shade for our luncheon.

To combat the inclement weather forecasted for the day, we decided to hold our gathering at Waterloo Corner. True to form, the forecast for rain was incorrect and it turned out to be a lovely sunny day!
The 42 members who attended enjoyed not only the great companionship that the group generates, but were pleasantly surprised and amazed at "Ann's" flower garden.
Another great day enjoyed by all.

St Helens Park was the venue for our social day. A lovely park, off Prospect Road, well grassed with plenty of shade for a hot day.
Unfortunately the weather forecast for showers in the afternoon did eventuate and sent members scurrying for shelter.
A good opportunity for the 25 members who did attend from near and far, to catch up on all the news of other members who could not attend for different reasons.
