Members of the ARPA Pleasure Fishing Group who attended the Social Day at Ross and Coral's place at Encounter Bay on Tuesday February 16 were treated to some wonderful weather and great hospitality by our hosts.
The 40 members who attended came from as far away as Springton, Littlehampton and various locations around Adelaide to catch up with other members of the Fishing Group.
Most brought a cut lunch, others BBQd, and tea and coffee was supplied.
Our guest for the day was Wendy's sister Judy.

In Adelaide in the month of July, it is usually cold and wet. This year it has not been so wet, but boy, it has been cold!
Our Social Day on Tuesday 20th started off with a minimum of 3.5° but reached a sunny 15.2° in the afternoon.
Don and Joy made their home available for our mid-year get-together which was very well attended with thirty five members rolling up to renew acquaintances and enjoy the day. Some members sat outside in the sun to have their lunch but most were happy to stay indoors where it was a bit warmer.
Bob thanked the members for braving the cold and outlined our coming trip to Arno Bay in August which is less than five weeks away. We also had a couple of members whose birthdays were coming up and everyone joined in with the singing of "happy birthday".
The group had the opportunity to welcome new members to the group, Eric and Julia, and we hope they enjoy their association with the ARPA Pleasure Fishing Group.
A few bottles of premium wines were given away and the six lucky winners had something to take home to enjoy.
Our thanks go to Don and Joy and all the group for making the day so enjoyable.
Bob.
